Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up...

I genuinely believe in what the famous Picasso once said. “Every child is an artist”.  It doesn't have to be in the artistic way we all know but I definitely believe that every child has a creativity gene ready to be explored.

This was my opening statement for my Little Bubbles class that took place last Saturday at the Brixton Community Base. I had it all figured out - Little did I know that as soon as the tiny humans sat in front of their canvas, they would waste no time to get their Van Gogh on!

Paint Paint Paint!

I absolutely loved it and the kids and Parents/Guardians did too. I think it’s important to just let kids get on with it sometimes and it was great to see all the little masterpieces at the end. The aim of Little Bubbles is to let each child explore their creativity, to fall in love with the paint and whatever they've created at the end of the class.

I love (completely unbiased) that the class had a lovely relaxed environment. Everyone, including the adults, was stuffing their faces with cupcakes and the kids were going wild at their canvases – note to self, bring spare canvases for the kids who will opt to paint their canvas completely black!

If you are looking for a fun-filled afternoon to spend with your little one and even an opportunity to make some friends, come along to one of our Little Bubbles painting classes. I guarantee you will not regret it!
